What is Menu Edit?
It is a type of menu that is used in graphical control elements found in every computer program. It is used to manage files, text, images, and many more. It is the next file to the file menu.
Purpose:
It is used to operate images. It contains the commands which are used to handle the file, open the print and edit menu. It also contains commands related to the handling of information like cuts, paste, copy, redo, undo, etc.
Categories of Menu Edit:
File: It is used to print and save the document
Edit: It is used to apply changes in the document
View: It is used to view the whole document temporarily
Insert: It is used to insert special characters such as shape, camera, characters, and charts.
Format: It is used to control the rows, worksheets, templates, and workbooks.
Edit menu commands:
Undo: It is used to undo the last action.
Paste: It is used to paste the selected text from the clipboard
Redo: It is used to redo the last undone action.
Select All: It is used to select the entire text which you want.
Replace: It shows and found the search panel by using the replace option.
Find: It is used to find words or formats in a document (shortcut key used to find and replace Ctrl +H)
Search: It is used to find the next, previous, searched expressions.
